bootleg

I just bought some Girl Scout cookies off of some people who were rolling huge boxes of them in a wagon outside of my building.

Walking away, I began to wonder if the peddlers were legit.

I’ll feel real bad if I’m eating my Thin Mints tonight and turn on the news to see some tearful Girl Scouts wailing about how someone stole their shipment off the truck or something.

But damn, Thin Mints are good.

Check that out. So cute. I bought one with listerine on the cover, and a Harp beer one for my boyfriend.

All’s fair in love and the pursuit of Thin Mints.

My boss was telling me that his daughter’s troop uses troop funds to buy tons of boxes, and then they sell them outside banks or grocery stores or whatever just after the cookie period, to try to snag those people who were depressed that they forgot to order or finished their own cookies too quickly.

So they could be that brand of mostly-legit but pushing the rules. 🙂
