I’m kneeling on the floor and am leaning over my bed to look at my email and the cat was, up until a few seconds ago, sitting quite happily on my butt.

What a strange creature.

What a really nice report on a farewell to a friend.

Farewells are important because you never know when the parting will be the last, and when you acknowledge the reality of losing their presence for a while, it makes the return that much sweeter.

May he return healthy and happy.
