Juno is the best. I also paid to see it twice. The backlash is so thoroughly annoying, and created by people who think they are too cool to like something popular. Screw 'em all.

I loved Juno so much that I saw it twice in the theater. I loved it for all the reasons mentioned here, and then some. (Screw the backlash, it totally warmed the cockles of my withered heart. :)

Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding you; I'm on my hamburger phone.

Can't say much about unplanned pregnancies, because I've never had one. But what I can say is what made that movie for me was that nobody was either one-dimensional or a caricature. Everybody changed somehow.

Plus, I'm a sucker for witty cultural subreferencing, and you don't get much better than Thundercats Are Go.

I don't have my own copy of it yet, but its space is reserved on the DVD rack.

"I remember feeling like there was no ground for me to stand on, that I was totally untethered, and worst of all, it was all my doing. I just wanted someone to understand how I felt, but I knew that no one possibly could, not even the people closest to me."

Exactly.
