I finally buckled and bought a $40 DVD player that plays .avi files and it is totally the best decision I ever made.

This made me laugh so hard:

“Write your spelling words three times??!?! Do you know what I would give to have to do that right now? Have you ever attempted to redesign the instructional text of an authoritative book on coherent topical progression? Or had to schedule user testing? HUH? HAVE YOU?”

I liked Moon so much, which was a very pleasant surprise as I usually dislike sci-fi quite passionately. I even cried a little bit.
