I saw that smoke that day.
My brother-in-law saw the falling bodies from six blocks away.
My wife’s coworker was on Flight 93.
This image is a fitting way to test the color printer they just installed. It is now on the wall outside my office, without comment except the basic fact that it’s NASA’s image of the day, taken from the ISS.
I work on a defense contract, with a lot of retired military. A surprising number of them are progressive in their views on foreign policy, Iraq and Afghanistan, etc., but some are not, and you don’t know what people’s PTSD triggers might be, which is why I didn’t caption it with:
